Clinical Trials

The present clinical trials system cannot keep pace with the growing number of agents that merit testing. To convert more efficiently recent scientific discoveries into effective interventions, eliminate the backlog of agents for testing, and increase access for patients and individuals at risk, the capacity of the national clinical trials infrastructure must be enhanced.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of C-Change Clinical Trials Team are to:

  • Double the current accrual for participation in clinical trials by 2005.
  • Make the majority of cancer patients aware by 2006 that participation is an important opportunity to receive quality cancer care.
